My Daugher's Blog

The things mothers do for their children. This blog was created to assist my daugher in her class project. She is working on a Masters in Education and I am so proud of her. View her blog at

Callaway Gardens

This is one of my favorite places to visit. This is what the brochure says: Callaway Gardens® is a stunning Pine Mountain, Georgia, resort that blends the tradition of nature-inspired luxury and superior service with a new era of indulgence and dramatic rejuvenation. The comfort and elegance of this magical Georgia retreat is surpassed only by the mesmerizing beauty of its expansive natural surroundings.
This is a picture taken when we visited in December.

GARDEN UPDATE April 14, 2008

This blog will show the progress of my gardens on a regular basis. Unfortunately freezing weather is predicted for tomorrow and my two banana trees which surprised me by coming back this year - are in danger. I will cover them tonight and pray for their health.

WHO IS THE STUPID ONE?

MARCO

Meet the best dog in the world.

Marco is a German Shepherd/Sharpei mix and is about 9 years old.

Senior Citizen Blogger

I have come to terms with my age. I will be sixty next year and will no longer pretend to be "young." The reason is - I look damn good, so why not tell my correct age so I can get compliments? If I pretend to be 45 or 50, then thats the age I look and no one will say, "Wow, you look great for your age!" Furthermore, I am now a grandmother. Grandparents are not supposed to look that young. So ask me my age. I will no longer be offended. What freedom!
